Will You?

The first time I heard this love song, I didn't know what it meant. I just liked singing and dancing to it. The original, recorded by the Shirelles, was the only version for me for many years.

Time goes by and we get older; maybe another version touches our heart.

No, it's not the Shirelles... no one can replace or top that version for me. Yet, this one has become a favorite. I wished many times to have seen them in concert... oh well.

    1. Hi ~Dixie - haven't had a visitor in so long - almost missed your comment. The hearts are always fun., especially against a dark background. I tried to find the red hearts, like we used to have but without luck. And ~ no I don't do Valentine's day, in the romantic sense. I usually try to volunteer somewhere and show love in an unassuming manner! keeps me humble.(smile)
      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Hi, Dixie,
Didn't know the Bee Gees did a version of that song.
I'm a co-host for the A-Z and wanted to hit you up to be part of my Joyful Brigade. Can you drop me a line at jmwordsmith at gmail dot com?

    1. Hi J.L., I appreciate your invitation but I had already volunteered with John. I was waiting to see if he had enough. Seems I'm needed, and that's where I'll serve this year. Have a great time!

    1. Hi Michael - I'm glad to hear that. :)

I think it's soothing, and they seem to be enjoying recording it. It was one of the last songs they did together. I'm not sure if it was ever released, unless Barry put it on the "Methology Tour" album.

Thanks for visiting me today (smile)
